This Week: The Spartans host Sacramento State this Thursday for the season opener. The defending co-regular season Mountain West champions look for their fourth bowl game in the last five years and third bowl game in a row, both for the first time in SJSU history as they start the 2024 campaign.

This Week: The Spartans begin the 2024 season this weekend at the Fullerton Invitational with matches against Louisiana Tech and Cal State Fullerton.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans return nine letterwinners from last year’s team and welcome 10 new players to the court. Brooke Bryant, Alyssa Bjork and Brooke Slusser are this year’s captains.

This Week: The Spartans will hit the road for the first time this season on Thursday, Aug. 29 against California Baptist at 7:00 p.m. as well as Sunday, Sep. 1 against UC Santa Barbara at 12:00 p.m.
Last Week: SJSU hosted two matches where the Spartans dropped their matchup on Thursday, Aug. 22, against UC Davis, 2-1, and battled for a 1-1 draw with Northeastern on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Spartan Fact: Senior Kennedy Mayo scored her first goal of the young season from the spot on a penalty in the 16th minute against Northeastern this past Sunday. This was the first penalty attempt and penalty conversion of Mayo's SJSU career.
