This Week: The Spartans open the Mountain West schedule with a match at Fresno State Tuesday night. The team returns home Saturday afternoon for a MW match against Boise State.
Last Week: SJSU swept San Francisco and Saint Mary’s to improve to 8-0 on the season
Spartan Fact: The Spartans are one of seven Division I teams that are undefeated on the season.
Spartan Fact #2: Brooke Bryant tied the San José State and Mountain West hitting percentage record in a match last week. She hit .923 against San Francisco (12-0-13), tying the Spartan record with Cristin Rossman, who set the record in November of 1994. Bryant is also the sixth player in MW history to hit .923 in a match and the first senior player to achieve this feat.

Men’s Soccer

This Week: The Spartans host UC Davis on Friday at the Spartan Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. in their final non-conference game of the season.
Last Week: Last week, the Spartans tied Saint Mary’s 0-0 on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Spartan Soccer Complex and fell to San Francisco 4-0 on the road on Monday, Sept. 23.
Spartan Fact: Diogo Baptista currently leads the Spartans with two goals on the season.

Women’s Soccer

This Week: The Spartans return home to open conference play against No. 7 Utah State on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. and Boise State on Sunday, Sept. 29 at noon. Both games will be played at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
Last Time Out: SJSU dropped their last match on the road against San Francisco 2-1 this past Thursday, Sept. 19.
Spartan Fact: Senior Bella Flocchini scored her first goal of the season in the sixth minute against San Francisco. The goal was Flocchini’s 10th of her career.

Men’s Water Polo

This Week: The Spartans play an exhibition against West Valley College on the road on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
Last Week: SJSU defeated No. 18 Santa Clara 11-10 and George Washington 14-3.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans have won four in a row with two of the victories coming against ranked opponents.

The Molly Collegiate Invitational
Bayonet Golf Course, Seaside, Calif.
September 30 - October 1
The Spartans return to Northern California next week with The Molly Collegiate Invitational to start the week. SJSU finished third at the tournament last season and second in 2021. The team will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.
