Cunningham Leads as Spartans Drop Match Against No. 7 Utah State

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Tatiana Cunningham took four shots, including one from distance that was on frame, to lead San José State women's soccer (0-7-2, 0-1 MW) in a 4-0 loss against No. 7 Utah State (10-0-1, 1-0 MW) on Thursday night at Spartan Soccer Complex.  

  • Cunningham had four shots in this game, with one on goal that the goalie had to make a tough save on.
  • Kennedy Mayo and Bella Flocchini each took two shots in this game, with one shot on target for both seniors.
  • Tasia Kravitz and Payton Hoover each had one shot in the match, with Kravitz’s shot being on goal. 
  • The Spartans took 10 shots as a team in this game. 
  • Shayla Sugai had five saves on the day in goal. 
  • Sugai now leads the team with 22 saves on the season. 
  • Isabella Shallou-Enes and Kravitz played the full 90 minutes in this match. 
  • Taylor Phillips, Kravitz, Cunningham, and Flocchini have started in all nine games so far this season for the Spartans.
