BERKELEY, Calif. – Emma Fantusis prevails in her singles match to lead San José State in the second day of the Cal Fall Invitational on Saturday.
- Fantusis won 6-3, 6-3 against Weronika Ejsmont from Sacramento State, setting her up for the semifinals on day two of the Cal Fall Invitational.
- Fantusis and Cristina Mateos Losada took the lead in their doubles consolation match against Jaime Pope and Anna Semler from Santa Clara University, 8-1
- Mateos Losada triumphed in her singles consolation match against Leyanne Hirota from the University of The Pacific, 6-4, 6-1
- Soledad Fayos Capilla bested Cami Brown from the University of California, Berkley in her singles consolation match, 6-1, 6-1
- Olaya Bances Iglesias came up short 7-5, 7-5, against No. 1 seed Marie Tiziana Schomburg from the University of California, Berkeley
- Bances Iglesias and Nahjime Dho were edged out by Emilija Pranyte and Lou Baudouin from Sacramento State in their doubles consolation match, 8-6
- Dho fell short in her singles consolation match 6-4, 6-4, 10-7 against Kennedy Robinson from the University of Nevada
