BERKELEY, Calif. – San José State's Emma Fantousis won the championship in the gold flight on the last day of the Cal Fall Invitational Sunday.
- Fantousis won her singles match 6-3, 6-1 against Madison Weekley from Nevada for her first championship win at SJSU
- Olaya Bances Iglesias won her singles consolation match, 7-5, 6-0 against Emma Sun from Stanford
- Nahjime Dho defeated her opponent Kacey Feng from Santa Clara University in her singles consolation match 6-1, 6-2
- Fantousis and Dho topped Juliette Krumholz and Jamie Pope from Santa Clara University, 8-2 in their doubles consolation match
- Soledad Fayos Capilla and Cristina Mateos Losada were bested by Zara Fung and Katarina Brajovic from the University of The Pacific in their doubles consolation match, 8-6
- Bances Iglesias and doubles partner from the University of California, Berkeley, Cami Brown came up short against Megan Carmichael and Milena Mayorova, 8-3, in their consolation match
- Mateos Losada lost her singles consolation match against Palina Saulevich from Sacramento State, 6-3, 6-2
