SAN JOSE, Calif. - Diogo Baptista recorded four shots, including one off the post, to lead the San José State (3-4-5, 2-0-1 WAC) men's soccer team in a 0-0 draw against Utah Tech (1-7-3, 0-2-1 WAC) at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
- The Spartans outshot the Trailblazers 17-8 in the match and had five shots on goal.
- Baptista led the Spartans with four shots in the match, including a header that went off the post in the second half.
- Jarette Barajas tallied two shots on goal in the game which led the team.
- Edgar Guerra held Utah Tech scoreless, putting him tied for first in the conference with three shutouts so far this season.
- Guerra also recorded two saves in the match, putting him at 35 saves on the season.
- Eight Spartans played all 90 minutes in the match.
- The Spartans are tied with Seattle at the top of the conference with seven points.
