USAFA, Colo.—Naima Foster had a season-best nine kills as the San José State volleyball team soared to a 3-1 victory (25-18, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19) at Air Force Saturday afternoon inside East Gym.
- Foster was one of three Spartans to record nine or more kills in the match.
- Blaire Fleming led the team with 10 kills, while Brooke Bryant added nine kills in the win.
- Brooke Slusser had a career-best seven service aces in the match and added five kills and 31 assists.
- Chandler Manusky, Alessia Buffagni and Slusser each recorded nine digs in the match.
- Emma Testi again led the team with six block assists, while Jade Epps, Fleming and Foster each recorded two.
- For the match, 14 Spartans played, including Nayeli Ti’a, who played in the final three sets.
UP NEXT – The Spartans will travel to Nevada next Saturday for a noon match against the Wolf Pack at the Virginia Street Gym.
