Gyllner Leads Spartans In Final Round of Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif.—Rebecca Gyllner shot an even-par 71 to lead the San José State women’s golf team in the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday.

  • Gyllner finished the tournament at 9-over 222 and tied for 21st. She shot a 2-under 34 on holes 10-18 in the final round.
  • Moa Andersson was the team’s top finisher at the tournament at 7-over 220 to tie for 43rd place. She shot a 4-over 75 in the final round with three birdies made.
  • Nicola Kaminski also tied for 51st at 9-over 222. She shot a 77 on Sunday with two bridies made.
  • Lucia Lopez Ortega made her first eagle of the season on Sunday as she shot a 2-over 73 and finished tied for 64th at 12-over 225.
  • Tessa Kremser shot an 82 on Sunday and finished tied for 93rd at 24-over 237.
  • San José State finished in 15th place at 35-over 887.

UP NEXT – The Spartans travel to Hawaii for the Nanea Invitational at the Nanea Golf Club in Kailua-Kona on October 28-30.
