COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Amanda Challburg and Will Bujake led the way as San José State cross country competed in the 2024 Mountain West Cross Country Championships hosted by Air Force on Friday morning from Eisenhower Golf Course on the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
- The Spartans had 14 runners compete in this year’s cross-country championship, split evenly across the men’s and women’s races.
- Challburg would finish 54th in the 6k with a time of 23:01.9
- Bujake finished the 8k in 59th place with a time of 27:44.4

- Nereyda Alvarez-Gonzalez finished with a time of 25:25.7
- Samantha Villavicencio would finish with a time of 26:22.1
