HONOLULU, Hawai’i - In the final game of the Outrigger Rainbow Classic, Sadraque NgaNga recorded his first career double-double to lead the San José State (1-3, 0-0 MW) men's basketball team in a 93-56 win over Life Pacific (1-4) at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
- NgaNga tallied 29 points and 12 rebounds in the game, both of which were career highs.
- NgaNga went 12-14 from the field and 2-2 from beyond the arc in the game. His 12 made field goals and two made threes were also career highs.
- NgaNga is the first Spartan to record a double-double this season.
- Will McClendon recorded eight points, seven rebounds and two steals.
- Robert Vaihola notched 10 points in the game, shooting 5-6 from the field.
- Latrell Davis dropped 12 points and three assists in the game.
- Josh Uduje scored nine points and racked up six boards in the game.
- Donavan Yap knocked down two three pointers, giving him six made threes in the last three games.
- Both Yap and Jermaine Washington led the team with four assists.
- Pasha Goodarzi and Steven Vasquez both made their season debuts.
- Washington, Yap, McClendon, Uduje, and NgaNga all had a plus-minus of at least +25.
- The Spartans scored 20 straight points in a stretch of seven minutes in the game.
- All 11 Spartans who got on the court scored in the game.
- SJSU outrebounded Life Pacific 49-25 and held the Warriors to 35 percent shooting.
- The Spartans scored 93 points in the game, the most since it dropped 117 against bethesda on Nov. 9, 2023.
