SAN JOSE, Calif. - Josh Uduje recorded 22 points and seven rebounds to lead the San José State (1-4, 0-0 MW) men's basketball team in a 64-59 loss to UC Santa Barbara(4-0, 0-0 Big West) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Uduje’s 22 points and seven rebounds were both season highs.
- Will McClendon scored 12 points and knocked down two three pointers. 10 of his 12 points were scored in the second half.
- Robert Vaihola led the team with nine rebounds which was also a season high.
- Donavan Yap tallied five points, four assists and three rebounds in the game.
- Latrell Davis scored five points off the bench and led the team with a plus-minus of eight.
- The Spartans held UC Santa Barbara to 64 points. The Gauchos came into the game averaging 93.7 points per game.
