LOS ANGELES - Josh Uduje scored a season-high 25 points and Will McClendon scored a career-high 18 points to lead the San José State (1-5, 0-0 MW) men's basketball team in a 82-68 loss to the University of Southern California (4-1, 0-0 Big Ten) at the Galen Center.
- Uduje went 5-5 from beyond the arc, 8-12 from the field and 4-4 from the foul line.
- Uduje knocked down five three pointers in a game for the first time this season and third time in his career. It was his first career game shooting 100 percent from three when he made five or more.
- Uduje has recorded 47 points across his last two games.
- Uduje also recorded five boards, two assists and two steals in the game.
- McClendon knocked down seven shots in the game, four of which were threes, setting new career-highs in both categories.
- McClendon dished out four assists, which also set a new career-high.
- Robert Vaihola tallied four points, nine boards and five assists. His five assists set a new career-high.
- Vaihola now has notched nine rebounds in back-to-back games.
- Sadaidriene Hall recorded nine points, three rebounds and a block, all of which came in the second half.
- Latrell Davis started for the first time this season, tallying eight points in the game.
- Jermaine Washington tallied three steals.
- The Spartans’ 11 made three pointers are the most by the team in a single game since hitting 17 threes against Fresno State on Jan. 16, 2024.
