KC Mungali Shoots 66 in Final Day of Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational

LAHAINA, Hawai'i - Keshav "KC" Mungali shot a 66 (-5) to lead San José State in the final round of the Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational from the Royal Ka’anapali Golf Course on Monday.

  • The Spartans finished eighth overall at -27 for the tournament
  • SJSU also finished the four fall tournaments at a combined -100
  • Mungali finished with a 208 (-5) which was good for 35th place
  • Jed Dy led the Spartans, finishing in 24th place after shooting a 206 (-7) for the tournament
  • Ivan Barahona also finished in 35th place with a 208 (-5)
  • Zubair Firdaus shot a 209 (-4) and Avinash Iyer shot a 210 (-3) finishing in 44th and 49th places
  • Xuan Luo shot a -1 (212) as an individual

UP NEXT: The Spartans are off until the Southwestern Intercollegiate on Jan. 27-29 in Westlake, Calif. hosted by Pepperdine.
