SAN JOSE, Calif. - Sadaidriene Hall recorded a career-high 33 points and his first double-double of the season to lead the San José State (6-6, 0-1 MW) men's basketball team in a 107-100 overtime victory over Cal Poly (5-7, 0-2 Big West) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Hall’s 33 points and 14 made field goals is the most recorded in a game by any player in the Mountain West this season.
- Trailing 91-88, Donavan Yap tapped a loose ball out to Hall who then knocked down the game-tying three with three seconds remaining in regulation, forcing overtime.
- The Spartans went on an 11-2 run in overtime to secure the victory.
- Hall is the first Spartan to score 30 points this season.
- Hall also recorded 11 rebounds, four assists and a season-high three steals in the game.
- Josh Uduje scored 23 points, marking his third consecutive game scoring 20-plus.
- Uduje now has scored 20 or more points in six out of the Spartans’ 12 games this season.
- Uduje also recorded a career-high 10 rebounds, earning a double-double for the first time in his career.
- The Spartans recorded two double-doubles for the first time since December 9, 2020, when Richard Washington (38 pts. 12 rebs.) and Omari Moore (15 pts. 12 rebs.) accomplished the feat against Fresno State.
- The Spartans’ have recorded four double-doubles in its last three games.
- Latrell Davis recorded a career-high 21 points in the game.
- Davis was all over the court in the game, playing a career-high 37 minutes.
- Will McClendon was the fourth Spartan to crack double-digit scoring with 17 points in the game.
- McClendon also knocked down three threes and grabbed six boards.
- Pasha Goodarzi and Steven Vasquez each saw significant playing time. Goodarzi led the Spartans in +/- with +19.
- The Spartans scored 100 points in back-to-back games for the first time in school history.
- The last time both teams scored 100 points at the PCUEC was on January 6, 2011, in a 102-101 loss to Boise State in four overtimes.
