San Josê State Held Graduation Ceremony for Student Athletes at Hawai‘i Bowl

San José State football held a special commencement ceremony in Hawai‘i with San José State University President Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson and Head Football Coach Ken Niumatalolo on Sunday to honor six Spartan football players and one staff member of the Spartan football team who were unable to attend their original commencement ceremony due to their commitment to play in the Hawai’i Bowl at 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Dec. 24, 2024, on ESPN. The players honored were Jalen Bainer, Justin Lockhart, Sebastian Macaluso, Zavion Reese, Isiah Revis, and Soane Toia.
