SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State men’s basketball will close out its five game homestand against Colorado State at the Provident Credit Union Event Center on Tuesday at 2 p.m. PT on Mountain West Network and KTRB 860 AM.

  • The Spartans are looking for their seventh win in nine games.
  • The Spartans are coming off a 73-71 loss to Boise State at home. 
  • This game marks the final game of the Spartans' five game homestand. SJSU is averaging 96 points per game over its last four games.
  • The Spartans are averaging the fewest turnovers per game in the Mountain West (10).
  • SJSU's field goal percentage of .478 is third in the conference.

  • Uduje is averaging 20.4 points over his last ten games (Nov. 17-pres.).
  • Uduje has led the Spartans in scoring in nine of 14 games on the season, including in the Spartans' last two games, scoring 22 points vs. Kennesaw State (12/21/24) and Boise State (12/28/24).
  • Uduje went 5-5 from three and scored a season-high 25 points at USC (11/20/24). Uduje is the only player in the Mountain West to make five three's on 100 percent 3pt. shooting in a game this season.
  • Uduje is second in the conference in field goal percentage at .545 (97-178 & min. 5 FGM/G average). 
  • Uduje's free throw percentage of .837 is good for fourth in the Mountain West (min. 2.5 FTM/G average). McClendon is ninth at .805. 
  • Hall recorded 17 points, a season-high 14 rebounds and a career-high three threes against Kennesaw State (12/21/24). Hall has tallied a double-double in two of his last three games.

  • McClendon is second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.5 points per game. He has scored double-figures in nine out of 13 games played this season.
  • McClendon has hit three or more three pointers in three of his last four games. McClendon leads the Spartans with 25 made threes on the season.
  • Robert Vaihola’s 18 rebounds against Lincoln (12/9/24) is the most recorded in a game by any player in the Mountain West this season. Vaihola is also the first Spartan to grab 18 rebounds in a game since Chris Cunningham on Feb. 2, 2013 against Idaho.
  • Vaihola leads the team in rebounding with 7.4 boards per game which is also good for fifth in the conference.
  • Vaihola is also fourth in the conference with 1.4 blocks per game.
  • Yap leads the Spartans with 3.1 assists per game. He also has an assist to turnover ratio of 1.79.
  • Yap was named to the Outrigger Rainbow Classic All-Tournament Team. Yap hit six threes across the tournament's three games, including three against Hawai'i, one of which was an and-one. 
  • Latrell Davis scored a career-high 21 off the bench in the Spartans' overtime victory vs. Cal Poly (12/14/24). Davis followed his performance up with 20 points off the bench vs. Kennesaw State (12/21/24).
  • Davis hit a shot from half court at the first half buzzer vs. Kennesaw State, earning the No. 10 play of the night on ESPN (12/21/24).
