SAN DIEGO - Latrell Davis scored a career-high 23 points and hit a career-high five threes to lead the San José State (10-12, 3-7 MW) men's basketball team in a 71-68 loss to San Diego State (14-5, 7-3 MW) at Viejas Arena.
- The Spartans knocked down a season-high 15 threes in the game, nine of which came in the first half.
- Davis has now set a new career-high in points in back-to-back games, previously scoring 22 against Wyoming last Saturday.
- Davis shot 7-11 from the field and 5-7 from three in the game.
- Davis has now scored a combined 45 points on 15-22 shooting from the field and 8-11 from three in his past two games.
- Davis only played in 24 minutes of the game off the bench.
- Davis has also now scored 20 or more points five times this season, all off the bench.
- Josh Uduje scored 21 points in the game, marking his ninth game this season he scored 20 or more points.
- Uduje also knocked down five threes, tying his season-high.
- Uduje also recorded two rebounds, two assists and a season-high four steals.
- Sadaidriene Hall led the team with nine rebounds in the game. He also tallied seven points and four assists.
- Donavan Yap scored 11 points and went 3-5 from beyond the arc.
- The Spartans have now recorded at least two 20 point scorers in six games this season.
