USAFA, Colo.—Madison Gustitus and Sophia Konieczny won event titles Friday night as the San José Women’s Gymnastics team competed in a meet at the Air Force Academy with Hamline
- Konieczny started the meet by scoring a 9.825 on bars, the second consecutive meet with this score.
- Gustitus tied for first with a season-best 9.875 on beam.
- Two other Spartans had a 9.800 on beam - Samantha Macasu with a season-best and Katherine Weyhmiller.
- Jaudai Lopes led the floor team with a 9.800.
- The Spartans finished the night strong on vault with a season-best 48.900, led by Madison Kirsch and Lopes at 9.800 each.
- The Spartans finished second with a 194.200.
UP NEXT – The Spartans compete at Utah State next Friday, February 7, beginning at 6 p.m. PT.
