LARAMIE, Wyo. - Josh Uduje scored 29 points on 11-16 shooting from the field to lead the San José State men’s basketball team (13-16, 6-11 MW) in a 82-73 victory over Wyoming (12-16, 5-12 MW) at the Arena-Auditorium.
- This win marks the first win over Wyoming on the road in school history.
- This also marks the first season sweep over Wyoming in SJSU history.
- Uduje’s 29 was one point shy of his season-high. This is also Uduje’s 12th game this season where he scored 20 or more points.
- Uduje also recorded four rebounds and three steals in the game. He also went a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.
- Latrell Davis tallied 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists off the bench in the game.
- Sadaidriene Hall notched 16 points and seven rebounds and three assists. Hall’s 16 points was his most recorded in a conference game this season.
- Donavan Yap notched 16 points, four assists and two steals. He also went 8-10 from the foul line, tying his career-high in free throws made in a game.
- Chol Marial blocked three shots in his first start of the season.
- The Spartans overcame a 13 point deficit in the first half.
- The Spartans made nine of their last 10 field goals to close out the game.
- The Spartans won the turnover battle 15-8.
- The Spartans were playing without two starters, Will McClendon and Robert Vaihola.
