SAN JOSE, Calif. - Josh Uduje recorded 27 points and seven rebounds to lead the San José State men’s basketball team (13-17, 6-12 MW) in a 77-71 loss to UNLV (15-13, 9-8 MW) at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Uduje is the first Spartan to score 25 points in back-to-back games since Omari Moore in 2023.
- Uduje has now scored 20 or more points in 13 games this season which is the most in the Mountain West.
- Latrell Davis scored 16 points off the bench and hit four threes in the game.
- Jermaine Washington scored 10 points in the game and hit two threes.
- Sadraque NgaNga tallied nine points, five rebounds and a career-high four assists.
- Sadaidriene Hall notched five steals in the game. Hall is the first Spartan to record five steals in a game since Omari Moore who also had five steals vs. UNLV on Feb. 19, 2021.
- Chol Marial recorded four blocks in the game which ties his career-high.
- The Spartans made 11 threes, marking the ninth time this season they knocked down 10 or more threes.
- The Spartans also had 19 points off of turnovers.
- Donavan Yap dished out five assists in just under 13 minutes before exiting with an injury.
- The Spartans also played without two other starters, Will McClendon and Robert Vaihola.
