KOHALA COAST, Hawai‘i – Zubair Firdaus, and Keshav "KC" Mungali finished in a tie for 70th place to lead San José State in the final round of the Amer Ari Invitational hosted by the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo from the Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club on Saturday.
- Firdaus shot a 213 (-3) for the tournament to lead the Spartans
- Mungali had his second eagle of the tournament on Saturday and finished the round with six birdies as well to shoot a 70 (-2) and a 213 (-3) overall
- Avinash Iyer posted a 1-under 71 on Saturday with four birdies
- Ivan Barahona recorded a score of 73 (+1) on Saturday
- Marlon Jones played as an individual and finished with an overall score of 222 (+6)
- SJSU on the second hole had three birdies and an eagle, and on the 10th hole had four birdies on Saturday
- The Spartans finished in 18th place at 861 (-3)
