NEW ORLEANS—Kylee Moore and Anna Salmon needed three sets for their win Saturday as the San José State beach volleyball team played twice at the NOLA Classic, falling 5-0 to No. 18 Florida Atlantic and 4-1 to host Tulane.

  • The Spartans faced Tulane in the team’s second dual of the day.
  • Moore and Salmon won at the third position, 21-17, 13-21, 16-14, against the Tulane pair.
  • Kiara Edwards and Sabrina Moore won the first set, 22-20, before falling 21-14 and 15-9 in the top position.
  • Alexandra Dale and Aubrey McBride won their second set, 21-13, after losing the first set 21-16. They played a close fifth set before falling 15-12.
  • Against Florida Atlantic, all five Spartan pairs fell in two sets.

UP NEXT – The Spartans stay in New Orleans for the 2025 Southland Conference Championships this Wednesday to Friday, April 23-25.
