NEW ORLEANS—Jada Hall and Randi Reeves recorded the only victory for the Spartans on Wednesday as the third-seeded San José State beach volleyball team fell to sixth-seed Southeastern Louisiana, 3-1, in the team’s first dual of the Southland Conference Championship in New Orleans.
- Hall and Reeves needed three sets for the win, falling 24-22 in the first set but then winning, 21-18 and 15-8.
- Addison DeMarse and Elon Milroy fell in three sets, 21-19, 14-21, 15-11.
- Sabrina Moore and Kiara Edwards were tied 1-1, winning the second set, 21-15, before the match was called after Southeastern recorded the winning point.
