STANFORD, Calif. - BERKELEY, Calif. – Otto Laing, Myles McFarland and Trey Ciccio all posted personal best times in the Men's 110m Hurdles, while Tyson Bonilla had a first-place finish in the Men's Long Jump to lead San José State Track & Field who split the squad for this weekend, competing in both the Stanford Invitational and the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on Friday.
The Spartans showcased impressive depth and speed, with multiple athletes posting personal bests and top finishes against elite competition.
Stanford Invitational Highlights

Otto Laing took 2nd place in the Men’s 110m Hurdles Prelims with a personal best of 13.88 seconds.

Myles McFarland also hit a new personal best, finishing 4th in the same event in 13.93 seconds, followed by Trey Ciccio, who ran a personal best of 15.04 seconds.

Tyson Bonilla captured 1st place in the Men’s Long Jump with a leap of 7.29m (23' 11”), a personal best.

Katharina Graman soared to a 2nd place finish in the Women’s Long Jump Invite with a personal best of 6.33m (20' 9¼”).

Alyssa Bean delivered two podium performances: 2nd in the 400m Dash (53.87) and 3rd in the 200m Dash (23.95).

Christopher Coats also doubled up with strong results: 4th in the 400m (47.60) and 3rd in the 200m (20.82).
- Cameron Tarver finished second in the Men's 200m Dash with a time of 20.81 seconds

Sky Hagan led the women in hurdles with a 1st-place time in the 100m Hurdles Prelim (13.30 seconds).
- Additional personal bests were earned by Asante Carter (400m - 50.28 seconds), Camryn Clark (Long Jump - 5.65m / 18' 6½”), and Ethan Fong (Long Jump - 3rd place, 7.10m / 23' 3½”).
Brutus Hamilton Invitational Highlights

Kendall McCoy achieved a personal best in the Heptathlon 200m Dash (26.58 seconds) and posted strong marks in the 100m Hurdles (14.42) and High Jump (1.55m / 5’ 1”).

Riley Costales hit a personal best in the Heptathlon High Jump (1.49m / 4' 10½”) and competed solidly in the 100m Hurdles (15.29) and 200m Dash (26.90).
