BERKELEY, Calif.—Jada Hall and Randi Reeves were victorious against the Saint Mary’s pair on Friday as the San José State beach volleyball played twice on Friday in Berkeley, falling to the Gaels, 4-1, and to host No. 9 California, 5-0.

  • Hall and Reeves won in straight sets, 21-19, 21-19, against Saint Mary’s for the Spartans’ only point of the day.
  • Alexandra Dale and Anna Salmon pushed the SMC pair in the first set before falling, 23-21, 21-8.
  • The Spartans did not record a point in the loss to No. 9 California.

UP NEXT – San José State plays at Santa Clara on Wednesday the 9th, beginning at 4 p.m., and returns to Spartan Beach on Thursday, April 10, for Senior Day against Pacific beginning at 1 p.m.
