Eight Spartans Earn 6-8 Sports/MPSF Academic All-Scholar Recognition

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Eight San José State women’s water polo players have been honored as 6-8 Sports/MPSF All-Academic Scholars for the 2025 season.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes had to have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade-point average, be a sophomore academically, complete one academic year before the current season and compete in 50 percent of the team’s contests during the season.

Senior Renee Fleming earned MPSF All-Academic honors for the third time in her career.

Catie Kelly and Grace Smith earned their second recognition, while the other five Spartans earned their first MPSF All-Academic honor.
