SAN FRANCISCO— Will Bujake and Elizabeth Scott were the first Spartans to finish in their individual races to lead San José State at the USF Invitational on Friday afternoon. The men's team finished in ninth place with a score of 236 and the women's team placed 12th with a score of 394.
- Bujake finished the 8K in 26th place out of 151 competitors with a time of 25:19.8
- Alexander Walker finished the 8K in 31st place with a time of 25:24.3
- Joel Nickerson, Brandon Wofford, Diego Cortes, Rowan Henige, Adrian Gomez, Alex Mendoza, Nathan Lau all finished in the men's event
- Scott finished the 6K in 101st place with a time of 24:24.7
- Nereyda Alvarez-Gonzalez, Malia Seki, Samantha Villavicencio, Jaylene Martinez, Jocelyn Martinez, Gabriella Hernandez, Liliana Fernandez all finished in the women's event
UP NEXT: The Spartans will compete in the San Francisco State Invitational on Oct. 10, in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.
