SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's basketball team has announced their non-conference and tentative conference schedules for the 2025-26 season. This season will mark the fifth season under the helm of head coach Tim Miles.
- The Spartans return five players from the 2024-25 season, including Pasha Goodarzi, Ben Roseborough, Jermaine Washington, Christian Wise and Sadraque NgaNga.
- SJSU welcomes six transfers, Colby Garland, Adrian Myers, JaVaughn Hannah, Jaden Goodall, Yaphet Moundi and Marcus Overstreet.
- The Spartans also welcome five freshmen, Melvin Bell Jr., Damase Coly, Eren Karakaya, Japhet Moupadele and Douglas Langford, to the squad.
- San José State will open the season against Utah on Monday, Nov. 3 on the road.
- The Spartans will then stay on the road to face UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 8 before heading to East Lansing, Michigan to take on Michigan State on Nov. 13.
- SJSU will next hold its home opener on Nov. 17 against Bethesda from the Provident Credit Union Event Center. They will stay at home for their next game against Southern on Nov. 21.
- The Spartans will next head to Palm Springs, Calif., to face Tulsa on Nov. 25 and either Northern Iowa or Loyola Chicago on Nov. 26 as part of the Acrisure Holiday Invitational.
- The Spartans will next return to the Provident Credit Union Event Center for a four game home stand to conclude non-conference play. The home stretch includes facing UC Irvine on Nov. 30, San Diego on Dec. 5, Long Beach State on Dec. 9 and Stanford on Dec. 13.
- The Spartans open Mountain West play this year on the road against New Mexico on Dec. 20.
- SJSU will play each Mountain West opponent twice this season with a home and away split of their two games with the exception of Utah State and San Diego State. The Spartans will not face SDSU on the road while they will not play against Utah State at home.
- The Spartans will close out their regular season against Wyoming on March 7 with Senior Day honoring this year’s graduating class.
- The 2026 Mountain West Tournament will take place March 11-14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
- The Mountain West portion of the schedule is currently tentative, and game times, as well as dates, are subject to change. The updated MW schedule will be released in the next couple of weeks, which could show any game day shifts, network outlets, and tip-off times.
