SAN FRANCISCO— Amanda Chalburg and Alexander Walker were the first Spartans to finish in their individual races to lead San José State cross country at the SF State Invitational on Friday afternoon. The men's team finished in seventh place with a score of 178, and the women's team placed ninth with a score of 240.
- Walker finished the 8K in 25th place out of 172 competitors with a time of 25:50.5
- Will Bujake finished the 8K in 26th place out of 172 competitors with a time of 25:53.3
- Chalburg finished the 6k in 10th place out of 130 competitors with a time of 22:11.8
- Brandon Wofford, Joel Nickerson, Rowan Henige, Diego Cortes, Alex Mendoza, Cristian Lopez, Nathan Lau, Adrian Gomez all finished in the men's event
- Nereyda Alvarez-Gonzalez, Malia Seki, Gabriella Hernandez, Liliana Fernandez, Jocelyn Martinez, Jaylene Martinez, Samantha Villavicencio, all finished in the women's event
