COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State’s Walker Eget and Steve Chavez-Soto have each earned Old Trapper Mountain West Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.
Eget was named Old Trapper Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. At the same time, Chavez-Soto earned his first career Old Trapper Freshman of the Week recognition following the Spartans’ 45-38 conference win over Hawai‘i, presented by Habbas Law, on Saturday night (story).
