- The Spartans look for their fourth-straight homecoming victory and fourth-straight win at home this season.
- In his last six games, Walker Eget has gone 145-for-235 (61.7%) for 2,115 yards (352.5 passing yards per game) with no interceptions, 15 touchdowns and a QB rating of 158.37.
- Eget leads the nation with 325.9 passing yards per game and leads the Mountain West with 17 touchdown passes. His total offense, averaging 330.6 yards per game, is second in the country and first in the MW.
- Eget has gone 268 passing attempts since his last interception, which is good for the third-longest in Mountain West history.
- According to Stats Perform, Eget has recorded at least 250 passing yards, multiple passing scores and zero interceptions in five straight games. That is tied for the longest active streak in the FBS (Duke’s Darian Mensah) and tied for the longest streak in Mountain West history (Fresno State’s Derek Carr in 2013).
- The Spartans are averaging 6.53 yards per play this season and 7.2 yards per play in their last six games.
- In the Spartans' three wins, SJSU has averaged 174.3 rushing yards and 335.7 passing yards. The Spartans averaged 88.1 rushing yards per game a year ago.
- The 630 yards of offense vs. Hawai‘i (11/01) were the most for the Spartans in a Mountain West game and against an FBS opponent, since putting up 736 yards of total offense against No. 16 Fresno State on Nov. 29, 2013.
- Eget was named the Old Trapper Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week (11/03) for the second time this season and also was named to the Davey O'Brien Great 8 (11/03) and was named a Manning Award Star of the Week (11/03).
- The Spartans have only allowed eight sacks on the season, the fewest in the Mountain West.
- Against Stanford (9/27) and Hawai‘i (11/01), the Spartans had three receivers with 100 yards or more. Danny Scudero had 135 yards against Stanford and a career-high 215 yards against UH. Kyri Shoels had a career-high 147 yards against Stanford and 109 yards vs. UH and Leland Smith had 101 yards vs. Stanford and 113 yards against UH.
- SJSU is the only school in the country to have three receivers with 100 or more yards each in the same game twice this season.
- The last time the Spartans had three receivers over 100 yards in a single-game before this season was when Chandler Jones (eight receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns), Tyler Winston (10 receptions for 164 yards and one touchdown) and Kyle Nunn (10 receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns) all went over 100 when the Spartans beat No. 16 Fresno State, 62-52, on Nov. 29, 2013.
- Scudero, a San Jose native, leads the country in receiving yards (1,085), receiving yards per game (135.6) and is second in the country with 10 receiving touchdowns (four 50 yards or more, Six 60 yards or more). He is also fourth in the country and first in the MW, with 63 receptions, while averaging 7.88 receptions per game, which is fourth in the nation.
- Scudero has gone over 100 receiving yards in six out of eight games at SJSU, and his 215 receiving yards vs. Hawai‘i (11/01), 189 receiving yards against CMU (8/29) and 180 receiving yards at Wyoming (10/11) are the fourth, 11th and 16th most single-game receiving yards in the NCAA this season.
- Scudero tied the SJSU record with four-straight 100-yard receiving games (9/20-10/11).
- Scudero (1,085 yards) is the fastest to break 1,000 receiving yards in SJSU history. Biletnikoff Award Finalist and 2024 wide receiver triple-crown winner, Nick Nash, had 995 receiving yards eight games in last season.
- Scudero broke the SJSU single-game record and tied the Mountain West record with four receiving touchdowns in a game at Wyoming (10/11). He is also tied for the most receiving touchdowns in an FBS game this season with Omar Cooper Jr. of Indiana and Beau Sparks of Texas State.
- True freshman Steve Chavez-Soto had three rushing touchdowns against Hawai‘i (11/01) to earn Old Trapper Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors. Chavez-Soto has 251 rushing yards, six touchdowns and is averaging 5.3 yards a carry in only four games.
- Chavez-Soto is fifth in the country with his six rushing touchdowns among freshman running backs.
