FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — San José State wide receiver Danny Scudero has been named to the 2025 CBS Sports/247Sports All-America Second Team, the organization announced Wednesday.
Scudero becomes the second Spartan in as many years to earn All-America recognition from CBS Sports/247Sports, following Nick Nash’s selection last season.
A Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist and First Team All-Mountain West honoree, Scudero turned in one of the most prolific receiving campaigns in San José State history. He concluded the 2025 regular season as the nation’s leader in receiving yards (1,291) and yards per game (107.6) — the fifth-highest single-season total in program history. His 88 receptions rank third all-time at SJSU, fourth nationally, and first in the Mountain West, while his 10 touchdown catches place him tied for fifth on the Spartans’ single-season list and 10th among all FBS players.
Scudero also delivered a historic performance on Oct. 11 at Wyoming, recording four touchdown receptions — a new San José State record and a tie for the Mountain West single-game mark. The outing also matched the most touchdown catches by any FBS player in a game this season.
