SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men’s basketball team (6-13, 1-7 MW) will face Wyoming (11-8, 2-6 MW) at Arena-Auditorium on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (PT). The game can be watched on Mountain West Network and can be heard on KTRB 860 AM.

  • The Spartans are looking for their fourth win in a row against Wyoming

  • In conference play, Melvin Bell Jr. is averaging 14.8 points per game, the 11th best mark in the MW
  • Bell scored a career-high 22 points against UNLV and has scored in double-figures in every conference game
  • Bell is the only Spartan to play in every game this season
  • This is the first time since 2015-16 that the Spartans have had multiple freshman score 20 points in a game in the same season (Brandon Clarke & Ryan Welage)
  • Adrian Myers recorded a career-high 20 points, eight rebounds and four threes and shot 8-for-11 off the bench in the Spartans' win over San Diego (12/5)
  • Myers leads the Spartans in blocks with 11 on the season, including a career-high three blocks against SDSU
  • Jermaine Washington is the team's leading three point shooter this season, knocking down 2.1 threes per game, good for the 10th most in the MW
  • Washington is averaging the second most minutes per game in the Mountain West this season. His averages of 11.3 points and 3.2 assists per game are big jumps from his freshman season where he averaged 4.4 ppg and 1.0 apg
  • Pasha Goodarzi is shooting .415 from three this season
  • Goodarzi is averaging 2.0 threes per game in conference play, the ninth most in the conference
  • Marcus Overstreet has recorded 16 points and 12 rebounds across his last two games off the bench
