MONTEREY, Calif.—Darcy Spark got the ball in the back of the net seven times as the San José State women’s water polo team won 15-4 at Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday afternoon.
- Spark scored seven goals on seven shots and assisted on two other goals.
- Bridget Cranley scored three goals on four shots and was the only other Spartan with multiple goals.
- Nynke Willemsen, Jennine Osorio, Mackenzy Clark, Taylor Fisher and Rose Jensen scored the other five goals for the Spartans
- San Jose State held the Otters scoreless in the first and third quarters.
- Spartan goalie Tatianna Raffin made six saves, while Sydney Poore had one save in a quarter of action.
UP NEXT – The Spartans are off until the Bronco Invitational, February 13-15, at Santa Clara. The Spartans start the tournament on the 13th against Marist, followed by matches on the 14th versus CSUN and Brown, the 15th against Pomona-Pitzer.
