SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's soccer team has released its schedule for the 2026 season. The Spartans will play 18 games in 2026, nine of which will be played at home.
Every Spartan home game and road conference game will be streamed live on MW+. Additionally, tickets for each home game can be purchased here.
The Spartans will play two exhibition matches before officially kicking off the season, first on the road at San Francisco on Aug. 15 and then at home against Dominican on Aug. 16.
SJSU will begin the season with back-to-back road matches, opening 2026 at UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 21 before heading to San Luis Obispo to play Cal Poly on Aug. 27.
The Spartans will play its home opener against Saint Mary's on Aug. 30 in what will be the first game of a four game homestand. San José State will then face Stanford on Sept. 4, Sacramento State on Sept. 6 and Pacific on Sept. 10, all at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
The Spartans will close out non-con play with two more road games, first at CSUN on Sept. 17 and next at CSU Fullerton on Sept. 20.
The 2026 season marks the inaugural Mountain West men’s soccer season with San José State joining Air Force, UNLV, Grand Canyon, UC Davis and Utah Tech as members. As part of the conference schedule, every school will play each team twice, once at home and once on the road.
The Spartans will play its first Mountain West conference game at the Spartan Soccer Complex on September 26 against UC Davis.
The Spartans will then head out on the road to face UNLV on September 30 and Grand Canyon on October 4th before returning home to play Air Force on October 10th.
The Spartans will next face Utah Tech on the road on October 14th and then return home to rematch UNLV on October 18th. SJSU will then compete against Air Force on the road on October 24th.
San José State will then have back-to-back home games, first against Grand Canyon on October 28th in what will be a rematch of last season's WAC Championship game and then against Utah Tech on November 1st. The Spartans will conclude the season on the road at UC Davis on November 6th.
The Mountain West Men’s Soccer Championships will be from November 8th to November 14th.
Last season, the Spartans finished with a record of 12-4-4, earning 12 wins in a season for the first time since 2003. The Spartans returned to the WAC Championship game for the third time in the last four seasons and had four players named First Team All-Far West Region.
