FRESNO, Calif.—Seven Spartans recorded eight top-10 individual finishes on Saturday, led by Mia Colyer and Vilma Lindberg with third-place finishes, as the San José State women’s swimming and diving team recorded one of the best finishes at the Gary Ota Memorial Invite at Fresno State.
- Mia Colyer was third in the 100 free at 50.96.
- Lindberg finished third in the 200 breaststroke at 2:14.57.
- Katie Below finished fifth in the 200 breaststroke at 2:16.74, the eighth-fastest time in school history.
- Genevieve George finished seventh in the 200 back at 2:01.38.
- Lillie Grover was seventh in the 100 free at 51.29, and 200 fly at 2:02.76.
- Dalton Sickon placed eighth in the 100 free at 51.31, while Keira Vail followed closely behind in ninth at 51.39.
- The 400 free relay team of Mia Colyer, Dalton Sickon, Keira Vail, Lillie Grover finished third at 3:23.29, the 12th-best time in school history.
UP NEXT – The Spartans host Pacific and UC Santa Cruz on Saturday, October 31, for a noon meet at the SRAC.
