2016: Started in 19 of 36 games, all at center field… Second on the team in games played as a substitute with 17… Did not commit an error on the season and had 70 putouts… Had five multiple hit games… Hit .185 in 81 at-bats, scoring 12 runs and walking eight times… Went 4-for-8 with three runs scored and two RBI in the double header versus Air Force (4/9)… Hit his first career triple against Cal Poly (4/3).
2015: One of four Spartans to see time in the field and on the mound…Appeared in 34 games as a position player and made 14 starts (6 LF, 4 RF, 2 CF)…The only Spartan to make at least one start at all three outfield spots…Tied for the team lead in games played as a substitute with 20…Also pitched in two games, both in relief…Hit .161 in 62 at-bats and walked seven times…Scored four runs and drove in five…Cleanly handled all 22 defensive chances…Posted a 9.00 ERA in 3.0 innings on the mound… Started a pair of games in left field on Opening Weekend (2/14-15)… First career hit came in a pinch-hit appearance at UC Irvine (3/14)… Made his debut on the mound against Nevada and threw 2.0 scoreless frames (3/28)… Collected his first career RBI with a pinch hit at Saint Mary's (4/14).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Los Gatos (Calif.) High School…Earned four letters in baseball, two in basketball and one in football…Led the Wildcats to back-to-back El Camino League titles in his junior and senior seasons…Hit .409 with six doubles, two triples, nine steals and 14 RBIs as a sophomore in 2012…Followed up by posting a .367 average with four doubles, three triples and 22 steals as a junior…Capped off his career by hitting .330 with six doubles, two triples, 12 steals and 10 RBIs as a senior in 2014…Also recorded a 2.91 ERA with seven saves and 24 strikeouts in 21.2 innings on the mound…Earned first-team All-El Camino League honors as a junior and senior…Also garnered first-team all-CCS honors in football and second-team all-league recognition in basketball.
