HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Waipahu (Hawaii) High School…Went 6-2 with a 0.16 ERA as a junior in 2013…Hit .405 with two doubles, two triples and one home run as a senior…Also tossed 40 innings on the mound and posted a 4-2 record with a 0.88 ERA and 39 strikeouts…Received first-team all-state and all-league recognition as a pitcher in 2014.
