2016: Appeared in 19 games, including 11 starts… Pitched the second-most innings by a Spartan with 73.0… Led the team in strikeouts with 48… Finished with a 2-7 record and two saves to go with his 5.18 ERA… Picked up the win against UC Irvine (2/20) going 5.0 innings and allowing one run while striking out five… His other win came in relief against Pacific (4/26)… Threw season-high 6.0 innings in four games against UNLV (3/6), Fresno State (3/25), Cal Poly (4/2) and San Diego State (5/19)… Struck out season-high five batters on three occasions (vs UC Irvine 2/20, vs UNLV 3/6, vs Long Beach State 5/13).
2015: Appeared in 17 games for the Spartans, including seven starts…Accrued the third-most innings of any Spartan freshman with 48.2…Finished with a 2-6 record and 4.44 ERA…Struck out 36 hitters and saved two games…His .240 batting average against was the lowest of any pitcher on the team with more than 15 innings pitched…Went 5.0 innings and earned his first career win against Northern Colorado (2/21)… First career start was also his first career loss against Air Force (3/7)… Faced just one over the minimum in a 2.0-inning start at Oregon State (3/25)… Struck out a career-high six against UNLV (5/15)… Earned his first career save with a scoreless 3.2-inning outing at #24 Nevada (4/26)… Picked up the win against Fresno State in 2.2 innings of scoreless relief (5/2).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Benicia (Calif.)
