AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: Completed his second season with the Spartans.
2017: Appeared in 13 games, starting in five... One of four Spartans to start behind the dish... Recorded career-highs in hits (2) and runs scored against Pacific (3/21)... Appeared in three games, including a start, infront of a home crowd in his native Hawai'i (3/24-3/26).
2016: Started in eight of the 18 games he appeared, all behind the plate… Collected his first hit and walk as a Spartan against UC Irvine (2/20)… Started against Stanford (3/28) and drove in a run with a double, his first collegiate extra base hit.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Kauai High School in Lihue, Hawaii…Led the Red Raiders to Kauai Interscholastic Federation (KIF) league crowns as a junior and senior…Named KIF Player of the Year as a junior…Earned KIF All-Star Catcher and Wally Yonamine Foundation State Baseball Championship Division II All-Tournament honors as both a junior and senior.
