2014: Played in 11 games... Was the San Jose State starting quarterback seven consecutive games beginning with Nevada (9/27)... Tied a Mountain West record with five consecutive 300-plus passing yardage games starting with his first of back-to-back 322 passing yardage efforts in the 27-20 overtime win at Wyoming (10/18)... Was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for leading the Spartans to their first overtime victory since 1997... Completed 33-of-45 with no interceptions and two touchdowns at Wyoming including a 5-yard TD pass to wide receiver Tyler Winston in the overtime stanza... First win as a starting quarterback came against UNLV (10/4) when he passed for 265 yards and one touchdown and ran for a TD... Had a season-high 350 passing yards and two touchdowns versus Colorado State (11/1)... Team was 2-5 in games he started... Was 60th nationally and third in the Mountain West in passing efficiency (127.85)... Completed 63.6 percent of his passes (210-of-330) to rank #6 on the San Jose State single-season list for passing accuracy... Second on the team with three rushing TDs... Did not play in the Utah State game (11/21) due to injury, but returned to action the following week in a reserve role for the regular season finale at San Diego State (11/29)... Completed 9-of-12 passes without an interception for 90 yards and a TD against the Aztecs.
2013: Completed a redshirt season.
2012: Was the team's number-three quarterback... Played in the second half of the UC Davis (9/8), UTSA (10/20) and New Mexico State (11/10) victories... Was 3-of-4 passing for 23 yards... Completed his first major college pass in the UTSA win.
2011: Did not see any game action.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rated #49 quarterback nationally by www.espn.com... Listed as the 12th best quarterback in the West and a three-star prospect by Scout.com... A two-time All-C.I.F. selection at Dorsey High in Los Angeles (Coach Paul Knox)... Team was 19-6 during his two seasons as a starter... Passed for 5,022 yards and 49 touchdowns... 2010 first-team All-C.I.F. pick and Coliseum League Most Valuable Player... Second team All-C.I.F. choice and a first-team all-league selection as a junior.
