Jose Bernal Season 2019

AT SJSU: Entering his third season at San José State in 2020.

2019: Was a pivotal member of the team's practice squad .... Pushed the club's goalkeeper's on a consistent basis to one of the program's best in-season turnarounds in school history.

2018: Redshirted in his first season on-campus.

HIGH SCHOOL: Shined in goal at Southwest HS in El Centro, Calif … Made 74 saves and compiled a 1.564 GAA in 18 matches on the 2016-17 campaign … Was one of the top goalkeepers in the Imperial Valley League. 
 
GET TO KNOW JOSE: Was coached by Rafael Contreras (now head coach at Imperial Valley College) in high school.
