HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Archbiship Mitty High School in San Jose, Calif.…four-year varsity letterwinner (coach Brian Yocke)…four-time West Catholic Athletics League (WCAL) Champions and three-time CIF Central Coast Section (CCS) Division II Champion…in 2013 she earned WCAL Pitcher of the Year and Sophomore of the Year honors…in 2014 named Junior of the Year by the WCAL…a three-time First Team All-WCAL and two-time Mercury News All-CCS First Team…an honor roll student.
DREXEL UNIVERSTIY: Attended Drexel and earned a letter in softball for the 2015-16 school year.
DESIREE: Majoring in nursing…hopes to pursue a career in either nursing or as an EMT...played club ball for the San Jose Sting (coach Joe Gron)…the daughter of Lisa and Stewart Severance…Desiree Nichole Severance is a native of San Jose, Calif.
