Dana began cheerleading when she was 13 after being a gymnast for seven years. Her first year of cheer was on an all star level 4.2 team at Valley Cheer and Dance. She traveled to Florida for the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships with her high school team in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Dana was the captain of her Varsity team her junior and senior year while also being awarded the title of MVP as well as the outstanding leader of the year. During high school, she was also on her school's varsity dive team, placing 6th in the EBAL championship and qualifying for NCS championships where she placed 12th in 2015. Dana was also voted captain of her dive team her senior year. Currently, Dana is in her second year cheering for the San Jose State Spartans and won an award her rookie year for having the highest cumulative GPA. Last year the team placed Second at the USA collegiate championship with Dana performing as both a top and base. During the summers, she works as a cheerleading camp instructor for Cheer Moxie. Outside of cheerleading, Dana is also apart of Alpha Phi Women's Fraternity where she holds the position as the director of campus activities. Dana is studying Kinesiology in pursuit of becoming a physical therapist for a professional sports team.
