Alle Moreno was promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach for the San Jose State women's basketball program on May 15, 2019 and recently completed her fifth season as a full-time staff member under head coach Jamie Craighead. Moreno has served as the team's offensive coordinator while coordinating all in and out of season player development.
Moreno was named as an assistant coach on July 1, 2015, after serving as a graduate manager for the 2014-15 season. In her time as an assistant, her on-court responsibilities included offense and guard development while her off-court duties included serving as the recruiting coordinator for the 2019 class, working on opponent scouting and academic advising.
The Spartans owned the nation's largest single-season win turnaround in Moreno's first year as associate head coach, improving from six victories on the 2018-19 season to 19 in 2019-20.
Moreno came to San José State after earning a degree in criminal justice from Sacramento State in 2014. As a four-year member of the Hornets women’s basketball team, she enjoyed one of the most accomplished careers in the program’s history. Moreno completed her eligibility ranked seventh on Sacramento State’s career scoring list with 1,280 points.
In addition, she finished her playing career in the top-10 of six other statistical categories including holding the program’s career marks for steals (223), 3-pointers (238) and 3-point attempts (808). Three of her seasons (2011-13) she played for Spartans’ head coach Jamie Craighead.
A two-time All-Big Sky performer and a member of the 2013 Big Sky All-Tournament Team, Moreno excelled in the classroom as well where she was a four-time Academic All-Big Sky honoree.
The 2010 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School in Stockton, Calif., she was a member of that year’s high school national championship team as well as state championship squads in 2009 and 2010. In November of 2016, she was inducted into the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame.
Moreno earned an MBA from San José State in 2016.
