SAN JOSE STATE: Completed her fourth season as a Spartan... A three-time Academic All-WAC honoree and San Jose State Scholar-Athlete... Most career wins for a Spartan with 128 combined singles and doubles victories... Was a member of the San Jose State University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the committee[apos]s vice chair for 2012-13.
2012-13: A first-team All-WAC doubles honoree... Broke the record for the most combined career wins with 128, becoming only the sixth Spartan with over 100 combined wins... Went undefeated in both singles and doubles play during the 2013 WAC Championship...Had an overall record of 22-14 in singles during the 2012-13 season... Had winning records at the #2-singles (3-1), #3-singles (10-8), and #4-singles (1-0)... Went 20-10 overall in doubles...Posted an overall dual match record of 13-3 dual record and a 11-2 dual match record in doubles with Julianna Bacelar...Went undefeated in conference play with Bacelar... Had a season combined win total of 42 wins.
2011-12:Led the team in singles victories for the second season in a row with her 18-14 mark... Had a winning record at #2-singles (6-5) and #3-singles (5-2)... Ran off a personal best 10 consecutive victories during the Spartans[apos] 12-match winning streak... Recorded an 11-15 win-loss record in doubles... Primarily played #2-doubles with Alexis Marquez... Pair was 7-8 in dual matches.
2010-11:Led the Spartans for most singles wins and highest winning percentage... Overall singles record of 20-8.... 14 single dual-match singles wins were the most on the team... For the second year in a row she won eight dual matches from the #3 spot.... Played with Anna Guzman at #3-doubles posting a 5-8 record, but were 5-4 in dual matches... Overall doubles record of 8-15.
2009-10:Only the third player in SJSU tennis history to record a combined 30 wins in a true freshman season...started the dual season with three straight wins in singles, one of which came against #44 rankedSonoma State...finished with a team-leading 18-14 overall recordincluding both fall and spring...also led the team with 16 wins in singles play during the dual season...played majority of the season at #3 singles where she went 8-4...moved to the #1 singles position down the stretch for seven matches and finished with a record of 4-3...was 10-13 with Anna Guzman in doubles action, and 2-0 with Olivia Marshall...12 wins in doubles gave her the team lead in 2009. Academic All-WAC Freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL:Graduate of Galileo High in San Francisco... Earned three varsity letters in tennis... A team captain and earned the Coach[apos]s Award twice.
CHAU:A biochemistry major... Has medical school and becoming a physician in mind... Enjoyscooking, travelingand going shopping...Truong was born in Saigon, Vietnam and now calls San Francisco, Calif., home.
