Taumafa Tuinauvai Season 2019

Second season at San José State.

2019: Played in seven matches and 20 sets…averaged 1.30 kills and 2.05 digs per set…made her Spartan debut at UC Davis...first double-double with 10 kills and 16 digs in a win over North Texas...six kills against Montana and Wichita State...three service aces against North Texas...16 digs against Wichita State...four block assists versus Montana and two block assists against North Texas and at Cal Poly.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from James Logan High School (Union City, Calif.) in 2019…2018-19 Female Athlete of the Year at James Logan…2018 Cal-High Sports second team All-State honoree…2018 Mission Valley Athletic League Most Valuable Player…played for head coach Matt Guzman…a first team All-MVAL selection her junior and senior seasons and a second team All-MVAL honoree her sophomore year…2017 CIF Division I state runner-up …team won the 2017 and 2018 CIF Division I NorCal championship…played club at Xceleration Volleyball Club for two years for head coach Andy Schroeder…team qualified for nationals both years…also competed in track and won Most Outstanding in field events…played varsity basketball.
