AT SAN JOSE STATE: Third season with the Spartans...  Her 318 goalie saves ranks fourth on the San Jose State career list... 10 matches with 10 or more saves including a career-high 14 twice... A two-time San José State University Scholar-Athlete and Dean's Scholar... One of only two known goalkeepers at the University to score a goal in a match.

2016: Did not play in any contests... A San Jose State University Dean's Scholar.

2015: Team's #1-goalkeeper... Started 28 of the team's matches and played in 30 of 31 contests... 213 saves ranks #5 on the school's single-season list... Had six matches with 10 or more saves... Single-game career-high 14 twice in a win over Pacific (2/21) at the UC Irvine Invitational and against UC Irvine (1/31) at the Stanford Invitational... Fourth in the MPSF for saves made per match (8.26) and sixth in the conference for goals against average (9.07)... Named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) National All-Academic team and a San Jose State University Dean's Scholar... Recipient of the Academic Award at the team's annual post-season awards banquet.

2014: Finished the season as the Spartans' #1-goalkeeper... Played in 16 games with 13 starts... Arguably the top freshman goalkeeper in the MPSF with four wins over top-20 ranked teams... Honored by the MPSF twice in its weekly honors the last five weeks of the regular season... Earned the starting role at the Aztec Invitational in a 10-6 win over previously unbeaten and #8-ranked Princeton (3/15) with six saves... Was the MPSF Newcomer of the Week for her 11 saves in the final three quarters of the 11-9 comeback win over #14-Indiana (3/18)... Named the MPSF Player of the Week after matching her season-high 11 saves in the 7-5 win over #5-Arizona State (4/6)... Finished the season ranked fourth in the MPSF in Goals Against Average (6.91) and fifth in the conference in Goalkeeper Saves (8.57/match)... The first San José State goalkeeper in 10 years to score a goal with her tally in the 18-3 victory over Fresno Pacific (1/25) in the UCSB Winter Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in water polo (Coaches Travis Martin & Lindi Callahan) and swimming at Del Oro High in Loomis, Calif.... Two-time NISCA/Speedo All-America and KAI-Cal-Hi All-America selection... NISCA/Speedo second team as a senior and fifth team as a junior... KAI-Cal-Hi first-team All-America as a senior and fifth-team choice as a junior... Team captain in both sports during her high school career... Helped her team win a 2011 C.I.F. Sac-Joaquin Division II water polo championship.

KATELYNN: A kinesiology major... Would like to become a chiropractor... Played club water polo for Davis Water Polo (Coach Doug Wright)... Invited to the 2013 U.S. Olympic Development Program's National Training & Selection Camp for 12th graders... Enjoys juggling, horseback riding, biking and playing ultimate frisbee... Was born on July 27, 1995 in Grass Valley, Calif.
