San Jose, Calif. --- The San José State University women's swimming and diving team travels to Fresno, Calif., to compete in the Bulldog Invitational on Friday, October 11, through Saturday, October 12. The meet begins at 4:00 p.m. (PT) on Friday at Fresno State's Aquatic Center.
In San José State's last appearance at the Bulldog Invitational, the Spartans competed in only five events, breaking three pool and three meet records.
Returners Ashlyn Acosta, Darcie Anderson, and Christina Bruni each swam a leg on the record breaking 200 medley relay team, finishing third at 1:45.61 and bettered the previous pool record of 1:46.13 and meet record of 1:47.20. Teammate Erika Harvey was also a part of a record setting relay team, finishing fourth in the 800 Freestyle relay team with a time of 7:32.71.
Along with San José State and host Fresno State, Boise State and California also will be competing in the two-day meet.
