It will be a full slate of action this Friday and Saturday, February 3-4, for the San José State women's track team at the Armory Track Invitational in New York City. The team will compete in distance events, sprints and hurdles and jumps.
Makayla Webb will make her debut this indoor season in the 60-meter dash and 60-hurdles. Fellow sprinters Caitlin Wilson, Maija Pinkins, Kelsey Johnson-Upshaw, Julia Price and Destiny Longmire are also in the field.
Jade Childs and Kolbi Sims are active in both hurdles and jumps, they are two of five entries for the Spartans in the long jump. Johnson-Upshaw, Destiny Longmire and Cambree Harbaugh will also compete in the event.
Jennifer Sandoval, Adilene Aldapa, Karina Nunes and Jeanette Zambrano will all be competing in the 3,000.
